 Junior golf is the future of River Oaks Golf Club and the junior golfer is always welcome. The professional staff encourages junior play and is always here to answer any golfing question they may have. Our young golfers are encouraged to play after school and in the afternoons during the weekends. The Rivers Junior Golf Camp is designed to allow the junior golfer to develop the skills needed to play golf to a lifetime.
Junior Camp- Junior golf camp is designed for the kids to learn the game of golf. This includes etiquette, rules, swing fundamentals and much more. The professional teachers at River Oaks have years of experience teaching junior golf.
During each session, the kids were split into age and skill levels. The teaching staff covered putting, chipping, and other applicable areas. Once each golfer was comfortable,they were paired up with other kids of their skill and were allowed to try their swings out on the course. This has always been a very successful method of teaching the kids the game in a manor that will stick with them for a lifetime. |
